A Resource for Employers

-Do you know employees that might be abusing alcohol or drugs or have anger management problems?
-Do you have employees without health insurance? Soon, low-wage workers will be able to enroll in the state's new Healthy Indiana Plan. Many community organizations also offer low-cost or free health services.
The people 2-1-1 helps are all around us. Many could be your family, co-workers or employees.

What is a typical call to 2-1-1?
Indiana’s 2-1-1 Centers respond to all kinds of human service needs. The most frequent calls are about food, housing, and financial help with rent or utilities. Callers may also learn where to donate goods, find counseling or support groups, seek employment assistance, legal aid or parenting classes.

Employers rely on 2-1-1 to help employees with life's challenges. With a database of over 21,000 programs and services in Indiana, 2-1-1's I&R Specialists can help find resources for a wide range of health and human services issues. 2-1-1 is a three-digit phone number anyone can call to get information about health and human services.
